1972 Mercedes-Benz 250 pillarless coupe review from UK and Ireland
"made from a recycled tiger tank,, possibly"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The car was 12 years old when we had it, a private sale. Just needed a service, including engine oil and filter change, spark plugs replaced, valve clearances adjusting and new distributor cap, rotor arm and contact set.
General comments?
Solid build quality, very well engineered everything so it appeared, it drove as good as it looked, superb. It only returned between 14 to 18 mpg town driving.4 speed auto box, smooth gear shifting. huge boot. electric sun roof was most welcome, overall, a pleasure to own.
