1985 Nissan Bluebird Series 3 GXE review from Australia and New Zealand
"The car is extremely reliable and fun"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Automatic choke gets stuck.
Gages fail constantly, but can be solved by a hit across the dash.
Clutch is worn.
Blows a lot of blue smoke which I am quite worried about as it only has done a small about of k's.
Plastic trim turns into dust.
Gear boot pops out when changing gears.
Rear axle became loose and caused vibration and a clunk noise when taking off.
General comments?
This is a great first or second car.. (can't go wrong in a rear wheel drive manual)
I am 16 years of age on my L plates and I wouldn't buy anything else.
Most of the problems have been easily fixed, but the motor will be rebuilt in the near future with a bigger cam and extractors..
This car is incredibly confortable and is really easy to install a stereo into being a wagon, I couldnt reccomend it more.
