1994 Isuzu Rodeo DX review from North America
"It's not a luxury ride, It's just a good little pickup truck"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
When I first bought the car, it was in need of some work, CV joints, Ball joints, oil pan gasket, all had to be replaced. Other issues with the car proved elusive, certain knocking noises at 4,000 RPM, s on deceleration. I spent a lot of time trying to make it perfect. But In the end I just let it go.
General comments?
The Car needs to be taken car of. You can rag it out on occasion, but it's not going to age well if you do this.
It ages like an old jeep, or a scout. It becomes very noisy, and rides rough, Hence everyones complaints about it turning to junk fast. However, stick with the manual transmission, oil changes, belts hoses, and it will keep running for a long time.
