1997 Mitsubishi Lancer GLX review from Trinidad and Tobago
"The lancer is the best small car ever"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Change gasket at 115000 miles, rotors replaced after 120 000 miles. Going to chance gas float (it does not say full tank even if the tank is full).
General comments?
This car handles very well since it now rides on 17 inch wheels. No major difference in ride comfort from the stock 13 inch wheels. It corners excellently. The trim on the car and flares are still in original condition and interior is still in good condition. Have had little to no trouble with this car. Have driven similar cars like nissan sentra, my wife's honda civic. Those other cars are not as attractive in looks, they have no flares and are not better handling in any other respect.
