2004 Mitsubishi Lancer ES review from North America
"Excellent vehicle overall"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing.
General comments?
Excellent commuter car. The gas mileage is great
and the car is extremely reliable. Initially, I was scared to buy it because I had no previous experience with Mitsubishi. My previous cars were an Oldsmobile and a Saturn which were also excellent. When I bought the lancer, I got it as a certified pre-owned vehicle from Mitsubishi. I paid $11,100 for the car which I feel was fair. This car literally runs like a clock and is super solid in every respect. There is definitely not a need to buy an overpriced Honda or Toyota when you have this. The lancers for your information is totally built and assembled in Japan unlike the civic and corolla which are both made here in the USA. If you want a rock solid small car, consider the lancer. You won't regret it. The base model lancer, already includes: AC, CD, PW, PDL (with remote entry), rear defroster, bucket seats and a ton of other accesories, all in a neat package that won't break your bank. Instead of driving what everybody else drives, buy a lancer and feel good about being set apart.
