1986 Toyota Tercel review from North America
"A masterpiece of reliable engineering"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced water pump, alternator, starter, struts badly worn.
General comments?
I loved my '86 Tercel for its unflagging reliability and endurance. If I could buy a new Tercel engineered the way the '86 Hatchback was, I would snap it up in a second. This car just would not quit.
