2000 Suzuki Baleno review from Indonesia
"An affordable and economical compact car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Recently changed the front power window.
General comments?
I have been using this car for almost 6 years as I bought it when Suzuki introduced a remodeled Baleno. At that time, Suzuki put 1.5L engine instead of 1.6L as in the previous model to benefit from the incentives given by the Government here in Indonesia.
The car is very economical and comfortable to drive.
Engine power is relatively lower compared to those of other leading brands (Toyota and Honda). However it is sufficient for inner-city and medium intercity driving.
Suzuki is a well-known car manufacturer producing a small and affordable car. I hope that Suzuki will be succesful in maintaining this image in the future.
