1993 Lexus Soarer GT-T review from UK and Ireland
"Sports Luxury"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Absolutely nothing attributable to mechanical or electrical integrity
Although bushes seemed to be weaker, maybe due to the very low ride height, weight of the car and the quality of roads where I live.
General comments?
Seen as a old man's big barge designed for America
I prefer to think of it as a graceful Supra.
A car of this quality needs spending on it to keep it pampered, but what it will give you in return will be well worth it.
My car had many aftermarket parts, inc bodykit and all major upgrades, bilstein suspension, etc.
So, I can't comment on a standard car, but it was very powerful, sounded simply awesome and had everyones attention. Effortless driving on motorways, a bit big for inner city, but if it's not altered then don't see why speedbumps, etc. should pose problems!
The car makes life pretty easy, with a brilliant auto that responds well with the engine. Buttons for everything.
It's a very underrated car, OK now seen for its drift potential, but if properly set up it can hold its own with many nimbler cars.
Having had many genuinely scary incidents in wet weather I would advise the fitting of a traction control system!
