2004 Chevrolet Aveo base model review from North America
"The MPG is not what I thought it would be, I don't know why they didn't stay with the metro models"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Only getting 17-25mpg... That is Hwy & city combined.
Clock keeps resetting.
General comments?
The aveo is very roomy almost like a small Cadillac. The seats are very comfortable.
I am getting crappy gas mileage. I just read that you must use the correct oil for it to get the advertised MPG. I guess people are thrilled with the results of 'Castrol GTX 5-40', picking up 6-8mpg's or something... I am going to try it. I read you have to use a fully synthetic oil.
I don't know... I will try it though. I am spending WAY too much on gas in this little 4cyl. car.
