What things have gone wrong with the car?
At 198,000 (when I bought it) replaced whole front end.
At 201,000 the shifter started becoming bad (put it in drive, it stayed in neutral, so you had to go to 1st then back to drive).
At 208,000 the fuel pump stopped working.
During the whole period I owned it, I replaced parts of the exhaust system 3 times because it was totally rotted out.
General comments?
The interior on this car was awesome when I bought it. It was very comfortable.
The car was really fast and powerful. But the main problem that I kept getting was that the exhaust would just fall apart. First the resonator fell off, then other parts just kept rotting off one by one, so I just ripped it out and stuck a cherry bomb glass pack out the side.
Last week I was on my way to school when the car just shutdown. It was the fuel pump. I just junked it yesterday. It was a fun car while it lasted. It is a very good car for a beginner driver!
The only reason why I didn't fix the pump is because the parts cost a ton of money ($300 to be exact). It wasn't worth it since I bought it from a guy for $25 who was going to junk it the next day. I had the car for almost 2 years and it still drove strong.
