2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer LS 4.2

Summary:

Unfortunately, a lemon. Has to go back

Faults:

Trailblazer has been in for service 15 times since purchase since March.

4WD. Service 4 Wheel drive light on.

A/C quit working.

Rear Wiper quit.

Terrible squeak/creak.

Shock Mount bolt sheared off.

General Comments:

This vehicle looks good and is comfortable, however, it has been in the dealership it was purchased from 15 times since March 6. and that does not count when in for maintenance items.

On last repair order, the advisor typed in "we are aware of problem with the 4wd, however, GM says that there is no fix. If light comes on, shut vehicle off and restart, the light should go off." That instills confidence in my vehicle.

Hello,

I too have a 2003 Trailblazer and have had MANY problems since the purchase in Feb of 2003. I'd like to know if you were told anything about your squeaking/creaking problem. I have the same problem & they tell me there can be nothing done to help.

Thank you in advance for any return comment.

First of all, trail blazers have a 4.3 liter inline six. not a 4.0, and it's an suv, not a pickup, get it right. BTW the gas mileage isn't great either. it gets about 15 mpg. i do love trail blazers however

Actually it is a 4.2 inline 6 (not 4.3)... they listed it right in the other part of their review. How are you getting 15mpg... we get in the mid 20's highway and around 19 in the city with ours. It cruises at 75 turning around 1800 rpm's...
