Faults:

Nothing, very reliable

General Comments:

This was a great car. Fantastic. My only 'bitching' is that inside it's typically 'Japanese' plastic, and today 200bhp is not particularly eye watering... BUT I hear it's highly tunable without serious internal engine upgrades. I only did minor changes, like exhaust and induction, but overall a great, reliable and fantastic car.

Faults:

Nothing has gone wrong with it yet, I have only owned this one for a few months. But I agree with a review on this site, it makes a lot of noise in the back at high speed (you'd think the window is open).

General Comments:

It's strange, but I owned an s13 for 2 years before the s14 and unfortunately they have both been autos.

In the s13 it honestly wasn't a problem, that car ficking flew, not off the line granted (mostly the wheels span) but wait for 3000 revs and boom it shot down the road (it scared many passengers), I had to change quite a lot like tryes and brakes, I added a cat 1, serviced it myself with the best I could get. the car was quiet and smooth (for a sports car), this all had to be done due to previous owner being a donut. my gripe is that the s14 is technically superior, without question, stunning inside and quite economical (really) but boring. this auto version doesn't seem as quick as the s13, they messed with the ride and gears and mashed it. a great car, but I feel became too soft and comfortable.

General Comments:

Wow what a car! These cars are amazing value for money, nothing even comes close for performance, spec, etc. I think it's a good looking car, especially from the front where it looks plain evil (mines in Darth Vader black which helps!).

Straight line performance is fantastic as long as you are on boost, the turbo doesn't kick in until 2750rpm and is pretty sluggish till then, but after... hold on tight!

The handling is pretty good on the whole, loads of grip in the dry, but it does roll a bit too much for my taste. In the wet you need to be careful, I've only had the car a couple of weeks, and have been taking it very easy, but once I get used to it then I think it'll be a lot of fun!

Interior wise its great as well, it may look a little bland as jap cars do, but its well constructed with a lovely low driving position and with the touring version you get all the lovelies like leather, air con, etc.

Could be quite expensive to run, I only got 24mpg on a long sub 85mph cruise to the west country, and when taken a little less easy it only managed 19mpg! Think I may have to take it a bit easier on the right foot in future...!

Overall I love this car and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys there driving

A few computer gremlins, but £40 sorted it out.

General Comments:

I was a little worried about buying this car since I was unsure of the reliability and so forth. But after viewing a few I finally bought one. What a car!! It does everything I need it to do. The handling is pretty sharp and looks pretty menacing to drivers looking back at me through the rear view. The cabin is snug and typical Japanese. Rear space is a tight squeeze for adults - but rear passengers don't seem to complain. Boot space is reasonable, but if you are into your audio, you will not be able to squeeze any decent size sub woofers in there.

More individual than a Subaru Impreza and hot Honda's.

Insurance is fairly cheap as well as the general running costs. A well made all rounder. These cars should go on for ever. Just a shame I did not buy this car years earlier!!
