I've had my Acura Legend for about 7 years now, I have a 1995 Acura Legend LS coupe with the six speed manual gearbox, and this car would blow out any other car in its class, in every catagory. I give it to Acura for building a car like this, but what I'm still wondering is "why did you stop making it?"

My 1991 Legend L Sedan was the best car I've ever owned. Bought it new and had it for 10 years when a cab driver ran a red light and the car was classified as totaled. It had only 166,000 miles. Replaced the water pump on dealer's recommendation at around 150,000 (still working though). Replaced A/C around 150,000. That was it. Everything else worked beautifully and the car still looked almost new. I cried! My 2002 TL-S is a fraction of what the Legend was. Bring back the Legend!

1991 Acura Legend L Coupe 3.2 from North America

Summary:

High performance luxury coupe

Faults:

Nothing.

General Comments:

This car is great. Maintenance may be high but in the end you have a car that runs for ever. It has had the 60k and 90k mile services and regular oil changes and brake pads. Nothing major has gone wrong, the body is rust free and still looks brand new.

By driving it you can't tell it is 8 years old, it is faster than most of the V8s on the road. This is one of the greatest cars on the road.

What V8's do you mean? I understand you may like your car and it has power... but now come on... more power than most V8's? You may take off faster than a V8 truck... but not a real V8 car. Take a Trans Am for instance... one of my favorite cars for its price. My Trans Am can get 0-60 in 4.7 seconds right now. My friend's GT can get it in 5.5 and I've heard Z28's get 5.1 or 5.2, but I don't know.

1991 Acura Legend LS Coupe V6 from North America

Faults:

Radiator, cigarette lighter, water pump.

General Comments:

I went to trade the car in for a newer model, but when the dealership I bought it from wanted to give me more than I paid them for it four years ago I realized that my classy coupe was still the newest and hottest thing on the road. Other people drive cars....I drive a Legend!!!!
