1978 AMC Concord DL 258 inline 6 cylinder from North America
I love this car, and I love making heads turn!!!
I needed to put on new tires.
I also installed a new air pump.
I installed a new tie rod and a tie rod mounting bracket, after I crashed into a mail box.
Replaced the gasket for the valve cover.
I bought this car as my first car, and I am truly happy that I got it, and I am planning on taking the car on some long road trips.
I have crashed it, and it took many months to get the parts, and to get it back on the road.
I have learned the hardships of owning a car, and I am now a much more responsible driver. I live in the mountains, and I get better gas mileage than my Honda Accord.
I wish they were still in production, and I am planning on collecting as many AMCs as I can find.
My car has a yellow surf board bolted onto the roof, so it really turns heads.
The car sounds good; has a little misfiring, but she turns also changes through the automatic gears really smoothly.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

My father had an AMC Concord, and it was complete garbage. There was nothing but problems. I was too young, so I can't list the problems the car had. All I know is that he was always frustrated, and the car was constantly in the shop. He swore off domestics after that. His 86 Volkswagen Jetta lasted to 340 000 Kms. Good luck with yours.
