"The best car ever made"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Nothing, really. Some wear and tear items.. I had the suspension replaced and put in performance shocks/springs. I also had to change a front left control arm. The transmission is good for 250,000 miles.. a miracle of engineering, really. The car runs great; it doesn't burn oil, and the compression is like new. I just love it.

General comments?

It's the perfect car. Stylish, safe, comfortable, performs well, handles well.

Hi, Your comment is very useful, I own a 1993 Acura Legend Coupe, but I have just found a 535i, 1993, Silver with black leather interior. It is in good shape, with only 55,000 miles. I only have one question before I make my decision: How is your MPG in a 535i automatic??

Thanks.

Miguel.

I HAVE A 1990 535i AUTO AND I GET 16MPG CITY WITH A LIGHT FOOT AND 22MPG ON THE HWY @A CONSTANT 70MPH.

REPLACEMENT PARTS VARY IN PRICE, SOME ARE MORE THAN AMERICAN CARS AND SOME PARTS ARE LESS, BUT IF YOU ARE REPLACING PARTS IT MAY AS WELL BE ON A GREAT CAR LIKE THE 535 BMW.
