What things have gone wrong with the car?
My axle required replacement at 35,000 miles.
A tire blew on the road at 37,000 miles.
Multiple electrical system failures at 37,000 miles.
We had a transmission failure at 36,000 miles.
Cigarette lighter fuse blows out regularly.
MPG used to average about 16 per gallon, but in recent months has fallen to about 11 MPG
Battery has begun dying regularly.
We are losing oil and must refill every 5k miles.
General comments?
First off, I love this car and it handles very well up until a tune up at 35,000 miles.
BMW service has been helpful, but unable to fix problems.
We have spend 4 of the last 9 weeks without a working car during 6 unique service appointments.
