1993 Buick LeSabre Custom review from North America
"A good car if you don't mind being associated with an older average demographic"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The fabric on the rear driver's side panel between the side window and the rear window sun faded and began to develop some holes due to sun damage around 90,000 miles.
General comments?
I have had no major problems with this vehicle to date.
I think it's most outstanding feature is its 3.8 liter V6. It is incredibly reliable and gets rather good gas mileage for a large land yacht like a Buick. I usually average 28 mpg on the interstate at an average speed of around 80 miles per hour.
The interior of my car is leather and rather comfortable. Unlike many leather interiors of a similar age, mine has not begun to crack even though I only condition the leather about once per year.
The climate control system has a rather steep learning curve, but it still blows rather cold air after all these year.
