1999 Buick LeSabre review from North America
"It's a high maintenance car with a great ride, but do not recommend this car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
CT,CL module & 3 coils with wiring and spark plugs at 57,000 miles because of poor acceleration and check engine light on, cost over $600.
Same problems for another 2 yrs with more testing and part changes, cost over $300.
This problem continued until it blew a head gasket at 95,00 miles. This involved many part changes beside the gasket. Cost $2200 and the check engine light remained on 24/7 for the next 2 weeks until I got fed up and traded it in for a new Toyota.
General comments?
This car has a great ride and gets great gas miles. but seems to be difficult to diagnose even with computer plug in testing.
It has a low trade-in value compared to the Toyota Camry, for example.
