1997 Chevrolet Blazer LS review from North America
"Something is always going wrong with it!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Eveything!
Fuel pump assembly, on my 2nd altenator, starter, fuel gauge.
Ball-bearing joint on the front driver's side rusted through and the car collapsed when on the road.
Intake manifold gasket blew, and I ran out of coolant and almost overheated the engine.
I'm sure I missed some stuff that I can't think of.
And of course brakes seem to wear faster than normal.
I've had this thing for about 3 years, and have spend about double what it is worth just to fix the car, but I can't afford a new one, so I'm FU***D!
General comments?
The car is made of cheap plastics inside and is very unreliable. The only thing I can say that is good, is that these S-10 Blazer have somewhat good ground clearance and with 4x4, it goes okay in mud and snow. Gas mileage is like 19 highway and 15 city.
