1993 Chevrolet Caprice Classic review from North America
"The only thing lacking is more horsepower"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The ABS break light was on when I bought the car. The problem turned out to be the wiring harness for the ABS system. (139000 miles) I had an overheating problem at about 142000 miles. I thought it was the thermostat, but it turned out to be the water pump. There is a loud clunking in the rear end whenever I hit a bump/pothole. (144414miles) The horn buttons never worked when I purchased the car. (When I checked the problem I found it to be a manufacturers defect)
General comments?
The miles per gallon is around 12 to 15,which I feel is very good for a car of it's size. The interior is very comfortable and spacious. (although I have never ridden in the back seat) Although I have the 5.0 liter engine I feel there is very little lack of motivation from the car. (I drive it like I stole it!)
