1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Z-34 review from North America
"A good buy if you can fix your own car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Had the brakes fixed when I first bought the car. Easy $40 fix from parts store. Of course the ashtray and center console were broke when I bought it, ran great with no problems for almost a year. Now the tranny blew and I bought another one. While the engine was out I replaced all gaskets and seals on the new tranny, rebuilt the starter and alternator since its hard to get to otherwise. Bought new plugs and wires, new timing belt, serpentine belt, rotors on front (performance). Bought new exhaust, front suspension and Fixed the small oil leak on top of the engine.
General comments?
Car was good when I first bought it, had a small problem with the front hub about 6 months in and now the tranny. Very reliable car now going into college. Car handles good and can beat most cars on the road.
