1994 Chevrolet Silverado Z71 Standard Cab review from North America

The alternator went out at 158,000.

The air conditioning stopped around the same time as the alternator.

A minor oil drip has developed and I am considering replacing the engine for increased horse power.

The previous owner did not properly take care of minor everyday use issues.

The aftermarket alarm system was poorly installed, that had to be removed.

The body wiring harness has been hacked into and a few features do not work, like the cargo lamp. A few of the plastic dash pieces were broke and poorly fixed.

After going through the truck and fixing all the little things that were wrong, it has turned into a very nice truck.

It still runs very strong and has some nice features added. For instance, an oil cooler which helps keep the truck run nice and cool in stop and go traffic.

I installed a minor two inch body lift, new tires and wheels, cold air intake, and new exhaust.

I am turning this truck into my dream truck.

I upgraded to this truck from a 1999 Ford F150 XLT. I wanted a truck I could work on myself and turn into my own with out a large hit to my bank account.

Soon I will rework the interior and make it a darker gray and repaint the body to freshen up the paint.
