2000 Chevrolet Venture LS from North America - Comments

"It's the automotive equivalent of a Kenmore"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Intake manifold gasket failed at 35,600 miles. Thank goodness it was still under warranty.

Battery failure at 35,000 and 85,000. Can't fault GM for failure, but battery is a nightmare to replace yourself.

Clogged fuel injectors at 50,000.

Broken rear gate strap at 88,000.

General comments?

The Venture is a lot like the refrigerator in my kitchen. It works, I'm glad I've got one, but it will never have a song written about it. No personality at all.

It's been an OK vehicle and has been pretty reliable so far. No tranny problems at 90,000 miles (fingers crossed).

The cup-holder in front is just plane silly and was stepped on and broken by one of the kids. Interior quality is not what it should be.

Transmission when in overdrive feels disconnected from the engine until it downshifts.

What are you smoking? Weird comments to say the least.

The battery is not a "nightmare" to replace, the plugs are!

No personality? It's a minivan for gods sake!
