"Appearance and ride excellent, reliability fair"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Within 3 months of purchasing the car the air conditioning compressor failed and required replacement at significant cost.

The front passenger door power window failed and the driver door power window switch works occasionally.

Road noise is loud in the backseat.

Weather stripping on rear passenger side door fell off.

General comments?

Disappointed with the vehicle considering the low mileage when purchased.

Highway ride is excellent. Mileage on extended trips is excellent and even around town is better then expected. Consistently getting 23 mpg around town. During a 500 mile vacation trip I got 31 mpg.

Very roomy and comfortable in both the front and rear seats.

The vehicle rides well and the, under the hood, maintenance is low however, there are items that are consistently wrong in regards to the inside of the vehicle.

1. Driver's side window failed within one month of purchasing the vehicle and the passenger side window was not long after that. Upon fixing the driver side windows, within 6 months it failed again. The car obviously has a very poor window regulator.

2. The stripping on the back window, passenger side as falling off

3. The wood grain dash has bubbled

4. The defroster has to be on constantly or the windows will fog instantly.

In regards to MPG, not very good in traffic, but what car is?
