2001 Dodge Caravan SE review from North America
"Junk by Chrysler"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Clock spring replaced at 130K.
Power steering hoses replaced at 133K.
Automatic transmission self destructed at 133K, rebuild cost $1600.
Multiple electrical problems, water pump at 150K.
Engine oil leaks all over, all gaskets need replacing, crankshaft seals leaking, stabilizer bar bushings has to be replaced due to loud knocking bang while driving on the road over pot holes or train cross.
Radiator hose makes a bubble, leaks and have to be replaced at 150K.
This car should be called Dodge Cara-junk.
General comments?
Junk by Chrysler, but Tony Lasorda said in 2004 or 2005 that Chrysler engineered cars to last 100K, now I believed him.
