1999 Dodge Durango review from North America
"With less than 96,000 mileage, this vehicle is basically useless"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Power windows failed, at various times, each one at least once.
Wiring problems, electrical problems.
Front end problems.
Biggest problem:
At present, the transmission usually will not shift out of first gear. When it does shift okay (seldom), the speedometer malfunctions. Rebuilt trans put in, to no avail (and so the original trans put back in).
Then a Dodge dealership put in all new electronics components, and other work, all to no avail; at a cost of $880.
They say there is nothing more they can do.
General comments?
We bought it new, and it has been way too much expense and inconvenience.
We will never buy another Chrysler vehicle.

| The perfect compromise between a mini-van and small truck. I love it! |
