I have a 1985 150 Royal SE Dodge Ram Charger, has 149,000 miles on it. Has been sitting for 6 years. Trying to find the book value of it. Can anyone help?

If it's in decent shape and runs okay, you can ask $2,500, but should feel okay about accepting $1,500. There probably is no established Blue Book Value for a vehicle this old, because there are so many variables on condition. You can always look on what similar vehicles are selling for on internet auction sites to get a ballpark value, but compare apples to apples in terms of vehicle condition.

I recently had all of the windows broken in my 85 Dodge RAM Charger Prospector, and I can't help but think that I should make it into a race truck and equip it with a full body roll cage, and maybe even weld the doors shut? Any input would be appreciated.

You should make it into a race truck, with a full body roll cage.

And don't forget to weld the doors shut.

I have a 1985 Dodge Ram Prospector pickup with 318 power windows and lock with cruise and factory A/C; got 114k miles on it. Just wondering around about what number it's worth? The body is in good shape and I drive it daily almost. Just curious if anyone might know the value? Thanks in advance!

I recently came across a 1985 Prospector 150 Royal SE. I need to know the trans specs. It is auto, 4x4.

The smog pump on my truck is not hooked up... if you don't have emissions where you're at, you don't have to worry about it...

It's easy to understand your love for your Ramcharger. I had an '85 Ramcharger Prospector 4X4, with a 360 that's been punched out to a 408. She's been used to pull out two Jeeps and one Chevy half ton. My Ramcharger is my daily driver.

About 5 months ago I bought an 85 Royal SE Prospector Ramcharger and I love it. It has a 318 V8 and 3 speed Flolite transmission, and is 2WD but will go anywhere it wants to. It has lots of power and only 80,000 original miles on the odometer. If you really want a hard working vehicle, the Dodge Ramcharger has my vote.
