2002 Dodge Stratus R/T 3.0 SOHC V6 from North America

Summary:

A stylish snappy ride

Faults:

Nothing has gone wrong with the car, its run perfectly from day one.

General Comments:

The Dodge Stratus R/T is a snappy coupe that is well worth the money. I'd say it could use another 50 horses or so, but the car has enough power to keep up with the pace of traffic, and then some. I've put an AEM cold air intake, a Ractive fireball style muffler, a magnaflow high flow catalytic converter, and a 2.5 inch custom stainless exhaust underneath which gives the R/T a nice rumble and a bit more snap. I have some more plans for it as more aftermarket parts are being introduced. All in all, I have to say that it's an impressively comfortable, sporty, and economically sound car.

Summary:

A lot of fun to drive as well as look at

Faults:

Absolutely nothing, and this car is driven a lot!

General Comments:

I'm actually writing this review on my boyfriend's car. He used to have a 1995 Accord that got merged into by an 18-wheeler, and when he went looking for a replacement after the car was totaled, I begged him to at least look at the Stratus R/T.

I have personally put a lot of miles on the car while he's out at sea (submariner), and I absolutely love this car. It's quick, responsive, very comfortable (except for the cup holder right behind the shifter) and looks great too. All he's done to the car is tint the windows, but that's all it needed. I would definitely recommend the car to someone looking for a distinctive style that's fun to drive and easy to maintain.

The only complaint I have is the lack of after-market performance parts available for the car.

2002 Dodge Stratus Coupe SXT 2.4L from North America

Summary:

Excellent performance and looks for awesome price

Faults:

Nothing has gone wrong with the car since purchase its been absolutely perfect so far.

General Comments:

The Car really has some nice performance for being a 4 Cylinder.

I have added numerous mods to the car so far, including cold air intake, and a custom exhaust and exterior and interior additions.

The Stereo system rocks and is perfect for a stock comes with complete sound and a 4-disc CD changer!

Another extra is the beautiful looking Sliding sunroof.

And the body paint is very slick looking with a added clear coat and tinted windows.

Summary:

A great value for the price.

Faults:

None.

General Comments:

This car handles great while maintaining a decent ride.

The infinity sound system is awesome.

It has plenty of trunk and interior space for a coupe.

Mine is red with the polished 17" rims. It's a real head turner.

Chrysler/Dodge are building great cars for the money.

2002 Dodge Stratus R/T 3.0 from North America

Summary:

Car is well worth the money I payed

Faults:

Only problem I have had with only owning the car is the foot rest petal's top plastic mounting hardware popped out once.

General Comments:

I bought the car used, but with only 10,000 miles on it. Only thing that freaks me out is Carfax says it's a 2.8L engine. Seems the VIN is off somewhere in it.

Car is very sleak and turns heads everywhere I go. With 17" rims I get better handling than expected. U-turns are a pain, but my 1993 Taurus SHO was no different.

Overall, for only owning it for a short time the car is great and has cause no reason for doubt. Next step is a better exhaust and to replace the bench seat in the back because of sloppy previous owner smoked.

Carfax is WRONG! The R/T Coupe ONLY comes with the 3.0 V6.

Summary:

Perfect mix of value and performance

Faults:

Cracked third brake from froze water, moisture in R fog light.

General Comments:

Car was ahead of the curve for sport coupes coming back, could use 40-60 more HP for some of us, but enough for most. Is a little heavy, great long cruiser, 30 MPG @ 70-75MPH. Perfect daily ride! very comfortable for me over 6'1"

I have a manual 02 R/T and the best I have gotten is 31 with the cruise on 80 the whole time I love it. 400 miles with out stopping.
