1995 Fiat Cinquecento Sporting review from UK and Ireland
"A Sexy Little Package!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Dodgy sound from the exhaust. Could it be the heat shield?
I had other problems with the exhaust. I have had the car around 4 months and the exhaust system is finally just about right.
Replying to another review, I have also found numerous problems with the balancing.
I had to have a new steering rack needed. I was told that this is a common problem with the Cinquecento.
General comments?
The handling of this car is amazing! Every time I drive it, you can feel the car sticking to the road! Great round corners.
Cruises easily at 80mph along the motorway, although I`v easily topped 100mph with no problems!
A great little package. Alloy wheels, electric windows and tinted windows, and all in a low insurance group.
Great on fuel consumption! 10 quid gets me about 160 miles!
The car is somewhat strange looking, but a real little city car and really does look great!
Leaves boy racers standing!
