1993 Fiat Uno ies review from UK and Ireland
"Great first car for new drivers"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The catalytic converter was damaged because it hangs below the level of the rest of the car and there an awful lot of speed bumps around me which it caught on a couple of times.
The petrol tank has a fault with the fuel pump cage inside which has a mounting plate on the bottom and the edges of the mounting plate tend to rust easily.
Exhaust again. damaged manifold when I caught it going down a curb.
General comments?
The car has good handling for such a small car.
The acceleration is not great (it's a 1.1) but it is very nippy for town centre driving.
The seats are very comfortable as standard and the car is easy to drive.
Good fuel economy.
