1993 Ford Crown Victoria Base from North America - Comments

"An American classic that is often underestimated"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

-Nothing noteworthy, except the usual maintenance issues.

General comments?

-Forget what other people may be saying. This is one of the best automotive values on the road today!

-The Ford Crown Victoria is one of the only remaining true American vehicles still in production, so get them while they last!

-The power-plant is suburb, and so is the cabin space and comfort.

-It is very easy to buy one of these dream vehicles used, because prices tend to be low since most owners underestimate these cars values. First chance I get, I'm buying a brand new Mercury Marauder. They'll smoke any Caprice out there!

Of course the Marauder would smoke any Caprice... they weren't made to race. I think an Impala SS would be much better competition.

I'm about to buy a 1993 Ford Crown Victoria, and it is a nice car...but, as for the comment about a Mercury Marauder smoking a Caprice... I owned a 1992 Caprice ex police car, and I truly doubt the Mercury "smoking" it... it was incredibly powerful & fast despite it's massive size, probably the best all around car I've ever owned.
