1993 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor from North America - Comments

"A big car with pretty big kahunas... a sleeper!!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Power steering pump is "whining" and needs to be replaced soon.

A/C temperature control switch went out recently (A/C only works on high)

Otherwise, only routine maintenance needs to be done, mainly new brakes, rotors, and tires.

General comments?

My cruiser is a fun car to drive. It is a blast on highways, as it has an aluminum drive-shaft rated for extremely high speeds. It steers and drives great, and it has pretty stiff suspension with shocks and sway bars. It is a very fast car when accelerating at wide open throttle (foot pressing accelerator almost to the floor), and at high speeds at around and above 70 mph needs very little accelerator pressure to keep it flying or accelerate even faster (not recommended!). All in all, if you are in the market for a Crown Victoria, especially a police model, it is a great buy if it has been taken care of!!! I highly recommend this big cruiser or a 1994-1996 Chevrolet Caprice or Impala SS!!!

I don't know why it says Manual by the engine specs (???)...but of course, it is an automatic!!!
