2001 Ford Explorer Sport review from North America
"Excellent car, very little trouble with it"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Transmission light came on at 30,000 miles - reset it, no further problem.
Rear lid lock broke at 50,000 miles, repaired.
General comments?
Overall gas mileage only about 16 mpg.
The ride is very sensitive to choice of tires; I now use Goodyear Wranglers, good snow/mud performance.
