If you find that the stock suspension is giving you grief, consider aftermarket sports suspension. My AU was more of a spinning-top than a car in the wet.. Sports suspension and 1 inch lower to the ground fixed the problem. you will not recognize the car after its done, and you will be forever wondering how you managed without it!

The AU Ford Falcon does not produce 148KW at the rear wheels and 368 Newton Meters of torque. in fact it produces 157KW and 357 newton meters of torque. The EB Ford Falcon produced 148KW.

The Forte was my dream car until I hit the wet gravel of a back country NZ road. It disappeared from under me. The horses take some taming.

You said you would like a car with LESS torque? All you have to do is lay of the accelerator and you will find that you won't be spinning out! Ford fans want MORE torque and power... not less dude. At least you were honest as said a more experienced driver may not have these problems.

I would just like to say thanks to the guy from the 13th of may! You Rock!

And also if you read these comments, I have actually grown quite accustomed to the overwhelming power of my car. It just took a while to adjust from my previous car (Mitsubishi Colt 1.5 running off 3 cyls), as you can most probably tell there is quite a considerable difference in power.

Take care all and I hope my review helped.

Lay off him mate, admittedly the AU Falcon doesn't have that much power, but you don't have to be nasty to him. Most young blokes that have just got their P's get a bit enthusiastic about their cars and the performance of them.
