1994 Ford Mustang Coupe review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Blown head gasket at 59,000 miles as with many of the 3.8 engines from Ford. Ford totally denies any problems with this engine, although most mechanics are aware that hundreds of these vehicles have needed new head gaskets. Now having trouble with the transmission as well, seems to be getting worse every month.
General comments?
With a paid off car, that has needed a new head gasket job, and now transmission troubles, I would advise anyone considering the purchase of a Ford vehicle to look elsewhere. Ford does not stand behind their vehicles, nor is "quality" job #1 anymore. Buy a Lexus and save yourself a whole lot of grief.
