1994 Ford Mustang GT from North America - Comments

"If you can find one for under $10K get it. They are the best!!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The only thing that went wrong with this car was the Explorer that ran a light and totalled the car. Even still, the Explorer hit me at about 50-60 mph on the passenger side and the car held it back from killing me. Only one cut on my head from the passenger's side door. The door ended up on the center console.

General comments?

One of the BEST cars I have ever owned. I abused it/babied it for all 25,000 miles. Long road trips, drag strip appearances and all, and it was a killer car.

I owned a 1983 GT 5.0L 5-speed. The car was incredibly fast but didn't handle very well. I understand newer Mustangs improved that area, but I still hear people complain.

Like your Mustang, mine suffered an early death after my girlfriend tried to stop a 70mph Lincoln by pulling out in front of it with the passenger side. The Mustang door was touching the gear shift from that one. Fortunately, only my pride was injured.

I remember beating 85-89 year Mustangs with that car, but lots of other cars could out-handle me on corners.
