1999 Ford Taurus SE review from North America
"Reliable, fuel efficient, and powerful"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I replaced an oxygen sensor at 102,000 miles.
There is now a squeaking sound when I turn the wheel while backing up.
Nothing else besides maintenance.
General comments?
I have been really impressed with this car. I only paid $1900 for it and it has really treated me well.
This car is really dependable, it has very good pickup and I still average about 20/29 as far as MPG, which is not bad for a V6 sedan.
The comfort is good for the most part, though you can feel quite a few bumps at low speeds. The seats are comfortable and pretty roomy though.
Overall, this car has served me well for almost 80,000 miles, and has been a great buy.
