2010 Honda Accord EX-L 3.5L V6 from North America

Fast semi luxury coupe and reliable

Passenger visor has come a bit loose.

Weird clunk noise front passenger wheel when pulling up to a stop and in parking lots. Loose strut bolt/nut? It only does it in the summer???

Console light illumination does not work behind the on/off A/C buttons. Fuse?

Passenger seat heater LED turns on and off when in use.

Nothing major really has gone wrong with the car. Just the minor things I've failed to fix.

This isn't something that's gone wrong, it's just part of Hondas, but road noise is a bit loud.

One thing that really irritates me is when I use my iPhone to listen to music, if I turn it up to loud, the stereo redirects the music from up front to the back. I can't for the life of me figure out if this is normal or faulty. So I don't listen to loud music. Good I guess...

General Comments:

The car when driven normal, it performs normally, albeit with one powerful engine. This thing flies for a front wheel drive sedan based car. The automatic tranny performs perfectly. I wouldn't recommend trying to drive it like a sports car, it isn't made for that sort of thing. Straight line driving is where this car works best.

I wish it had perforated leather seats. Here in the Central Valley in California, the hot summers make the black leather unbearable. I like the looks and it stays mostly off the radar. I usually get 22/29 MPG city and highway.

Original Poster:

The car has 83.5K miles and drives like a dream.

That summer clunk goes away as usual in the winter ... Haven't figured it out.

Stereo still cuts out when blasted.... Don't blast any more.

New tires are a dream. Just fitted new tires and I'm so happy! No wheel spin or out of control!!! Nexen Premiere Korean tires are a steal! 4 for $380 out the door is a steal!

Still is as fast and peppy as usual. Not looking forward to the close timing belt replacement... Tranny can be clunky due to its non planetary gear set type of build. But most of the time it works like it should.

I still love my coupe and V6 + Auto. Premium gas is a must. Still haven't ever used the navigation after over two years. The maps I like.

Minor issues like creaks and overhead lamps not working properly... nothing to bash.

2010 Honda Accord LX Base four cylinder from North America

I purchase this car because I believe it is one of the most dependable on the market today!

Nothing yet!

General Comments:

This car was a lease vehicle. I know the person who leased it. It was driven very little, as one can surmise from the mileage. Got it for a great price. I also purchased the extended warranty, which is good for 120K miles or the year 2018, whichever comes first.

The only minor complaints I have are the seats are a little firm for my taste, and on occasion there is a popping noise coming from the trunk area, which seems to happen after I've closed it and am traveling down the road and hitting bumps. I think it may be related to the spring tensioners used to assist in raising the trunk when opening.

2010 Honda Accord EX 2.4 from North America

It's an Accord!

So far the car has been flawless from a reliability standpoint.

General Comments:

Our Accord is a great handling/driving car! The 190HP 2.4 in the EX has a little more grunt than the base 4 cylinder, but it still returns 27 MPG in mixed city/highway driving.

The only issues I have with the car are the excessive road noise (come on Honda - a little sound deadening please?) and the lumpy front seats. They aren't necessarily uncomfortable, but they feel a bit on the hard and lumpy side. Long trips will make you want to get out and walk it off for sure. For normal daily driving, they aren't too bad.

Overall, we are quite pleased.
