"The "Energizer Bunny" of cars, it keeps going and going and.."

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Nothing much to report.

I have changed the brakes, I think, twice so far.

Had to have the starter replaced today (first time since I owned it).

No other major things to replace aside from regular maintenance.

General comments?

*** GOOD ***

This is just one super reliable car with great gas mileage and great spunk.

It likes to fly off the line (almost too much so) when you hit the gas. Sometimes I can red-line it to 7,000 rpms when hitting the gas hard, if I don't watch myself carefully.

I love the dashboard layout and design. I wish newer cars would mimic it.

*** BAD ***

My only real complaint is I would like to get a larger car next time since its not really great to haul stuff in, but what can you expect when the car was designed to be small and nimble. One advantage to this is I can park almost anywhere even if cars on either side are parked over the line... I can normally squeeze in.

The shifting between gears (this is an automatic) is somewhat jerky, but you get used to it.

Lastly, the power steering is still pretty stiff and I would recommend a good steering wheel cover. I have found that helps a lot and you get used to it pretty quick.

*** Conclusion ***

Otherwise, an overall great car that I can't recommend enough. All of my complaints are pretty minor.

I think I will go for the slightly larger Accord next time.

Tell me about it I got a civic with 140 000 miles on the clock and its still running strong. It's a manual and mine red lines at 8500 RPM.
