When I first got the car I got 40 mpg, then I changed plug&filter and added fuel cleaner, now I got 46 mpg, I'm trying to get better gas mileage it has no a/c or radio HELP.
Change the oxygen sensor. My VX gets 52-59 mpg most of the time, and as high as 66 mpg. Make sure to get the wideband O2 sensor. They are pricey, but you can find one for $99 instead of the $460 that most places charge. Gassavers.org has a thread that tells you a place to purchase the oxygen sensor for cheap.
