"Cheap to run"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Nothing.

General comments?

Purchased as a second car just to get around town.

Fuel miser get 600km on 38 liters of petrol.

Was maintained by a Honda dealer from day one. It purchased from a old doctor.

Handles well and the ride is OK.

Cheap on insurance - approximayely $98 per year.

Seats are a little uncomfortable for long distances.

I agree seats are not padded enough, but for the way it sips fuel I'm not complaining.

I've had very comfortable big padded seats, but then I was paying $20CDN for 100kms

This car I just did 150KMS from full and the needle is still sitting on Full. I haven't had it long enough to judge but the rating site I found says 43MPG. Not sure what that is in KMS but I suspect 100KMS to cost below $5, possibly about $4 for 100KMS, which is about 4.2 liters per 100KMS. Gas here in Canada right now is approx.80 Cents a liter.

I love this little car, and it's beat up somewhat, but the money I save on fueling it, can go towards fixing it up. I think a tank of gas for $37 will last me 3-4 weeks of commuting to work and back. I was paying $20 a week with a 5.7 liter V8 that was rated at 13MPG. So I'm excited to drive a car that gets 43MPG now, I'm not going to miss having to stop for gas every 6-7 days. This is a car I won't even mind filling full. My last one I mentioned would cost about $100 to fill it full and would be gone in about 2 or 3 weeks. Possibly 4, but all I used it for was going to work and back home, occasional grocery shopping, and visits to family.

Oh that is right, I went to visit family that lives 40KMS 1 way. I put in $20 and when I got back home I had used the entire $20 worth of gas. So for $20 I got 80kms highway.
