1989 Honda Prelude 4WS 2.0i-16 review from UK and Ireland
"Lexus and Porsche in one car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The transmission will not change from 2nd to 3rd until the red line. Also the car must have equal traction on each tyre to track as smoothly as possible.
General comments?
0-60mph in 8seconds using only 2nd gear then straight into drive cuts the red line nonsense. Other than the above minors this car is excellent. I paid £700 for it and it looks and goes like a £40,000 new car. 80mph-120mph is lightning and will keep up with the BMW's and Mercedes'. Beware of head gasket as these cars are known to have poor ventilation and low water reservoir pressure capacity.
