1998 Isuzu Trooper review from North America

The compressor that makes the air conditioner work went out at approximately 30,000 miles. The cost for repair for this is over $1,000.00.

The brakes, front and rear, went out at 43,000 miles. Not only did the brakes go out, but the calipers on the brakes fell off. This was a $500.00 repair.

The dipstick that checks the oil in the engine indicates no oil in the vehicle after less than 3,000 miles since the last oil change. This is at the current 44,000 miles. Cost for repair unknown at this time.

The driver side window came off track, only allowing the window to be rolled up if it is manually pushed back into place. This is at the current 44,000 miles. Cost for repair unknown at this time.

The blower for the air conditioner and heater quits working at times, and only starts working again if switches that control the outside/recirculate air are moved back and forth. This happened at approximately 35,000 miles.

One of the back seats does not lock into place when folded forward. This happened at approximately 25,000 miles.

This is the worst car I have ever owned. I have never seen a car that is this new, with this low of miles, have so many problems, amounting in so much cost to repair. I should've NEVER veered from Hondas.
