I have been very lucky with the E Type I own. Prior to buying it, I went through mountains of research and chose carefully.
Have had very few problems.
Carbs and exhaust system needed replacing. 43,000 miles, but the car is over 30 years old.
Watch out for rust when choosing to buy.
One of the sexiest cars alive.
The car is very reliable and a delight to drive.
On the limit, the car is a handful, but that is part of the charm of this sports car.
The only problem I have with the E Type is my feet. I have to remove my shoes to get into the car. My feet are to big with the shoes on. Otherwise, its purrfect, except for the 14mpg??
