1990 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4.0 6 cylinder from North America

Summary:

Cool car if you have the money to spend to fix it

Faults:

My alternator went out the first week I had it at about 95,100 miles.

Seats were already kinda torn, but still in great shape for such an old car.

Current axle gear fluid leak in the front right axle.

General Comments:

I love the car. It is quicker than I thought it would be before I bought it. It kinda surprised me. And I love taking it off-road.

1990 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4.0L 6 Cyl from North America

Summary:

Never say die durable 4X4

Faults:

AC blew, needs a recharge.

General Comments:

This JEEP hauled me to work for 10 years. I racked up 274K+, and after all the bad reviews that are posted here, here's a RAVING GOOD REVIEW for the Jeep Cherokee.

Inside held up just fine, the engine is still strong after all those miles, 4X4 was always reliable, interior was tough and is still nice looking. Some rust on the undercarriage, but hey, after 10 years that's OK.

Sold it for $2,500, bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee that will hopefully be just as good.

I have a Jeep Cherokee Laredo and it's a 91 with Super Swamper Radials all the way around. It has 200,000 and it's a beast from hell!

I own a 1992 Cherokee Laredo with 219,000 miles on it. I don't know what kind of tires they are, but they get me where I need to go and in a hurry. The transmission is in good shape and the 4X4 still rocks. I've had to replace the regular parts and a few that most people won't have to deal with, but it's been through some rough treatment so it wasn't surprising. All in all it's been great.

1990 Jeep Cherokee Larado 4.0L straight 6 from North America

Faults:

We have had very little go wrong. Nothing major was replaced on a vehicle that is 8 years old. The exhaust has a slight rattle. I would drive this vehicle for the next 20 years.
