I warped the head, but that was my own fault for not paying attention to the coolant in the system.
I have replaced the shocks, brakes, and other normal items associated with wear and tear of a Jeep that is driven daily, and of this age.
I have been through three sets of tires on my Jeep, and I am about to finish off the third set, and no cupping, no abnormal wear and tear can be found.
If I had a choice, I would drive this car for the rest of my life. I have never had a car quite like this. My Jeep has taken me through everything the road can throw at a person and brought me out intact, with minimal problems to the actual Jeep itself.
I plan on fixing up "Old Boy" when I have the money, and keeping this Jeep for as long as the fates allow it.
I agree 100%! I love my 92, even with its little quirks (busted wiper reservoir, little noise from rear end)
but I think I'll have this for quite awhile :)
I still have my 92 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 inline 6 at 165000 miles.
It runs up and down I-95 with the best of them, and goes where most could never go.
It is tuff and rides nice. Great car..
