As part of the ATA (American Tailgaters Anonymous), I congratulate you on your wonderful review. Preserve the cause!

I was hoping to give him the benefit of the doubt as well, with football game tailgating. But then the comment about pushing puny little Hondas out of the way make it seem like he is indeed talking about being a road bully. It's a dangerous game. That Jeep will fold up fast on the battleship-like bumper of a '67 Chrysler Newport or similar car that is actually doing the speed limit and he tries to intimidate them out of the way.

Of course he means the driving kind, you silly geese! There's no better amusement in the world! And to the writer of this review, you should give your Jeep a lift and some tinted windows to boost the intimidation factor.

Good idea. The lift and the tinted windows make your head a harder target to hit when you try to "intimidate" someone with a quick temper and a loaded pistol under their seat.

Have fun!

Never would've expected one hilarious review would create such a heated debate...

Yeah, I think he tapped in to the road rage issue, and that lots of people are getting mad at jerks who do the tailgate/cut off/no turn signal/speeding routine. For somebody to even suggest that they are trying to intimidate other people, it's going to invite a pretty rabid response.

It's kind of funny. I'm 16 and I've never even thought about tailgating or intimidating other people. I mean, you think a jeep can outrun a Jetta? The Jetta could probably go faster since its lighter. The Jeep is heavier with a heavier engine, which may be more powerful, but the chassis is heavier itself and the Jetta has a lighter engine and most likely lighter body. Anyway...

Actually, it would be a close-call. A Grand Cherokee Overland would outrun a 4 or 5 cylinder Jetta without much trouble, but a fully-loaded Jetta with the six cylinder and $5000 invested in mods might put up a good fight. Who cares anyway, they're both entirely different types of cars in different categories.

Many comments, but only the last one understand what he is trying to say.

If you said tailgating is bad then you are too old. Period.

If you said tailgating is good, then you are too dumb. Exclamation point.

It seems everyone got a little off topic on here. Just pointing that out. I came on here to read reviews about a car, not to argue about whether tailgating is or is not cool. People will drive how they want... the tailgaters are the ones that get screwed if they hit anyone anyway, so who cares whether it's bad or not. Now, does anyone have any opinions about the CAR. I just bought a used '03 limited, and was curious about this "rotor" problem everyone seems to be having. Anyone have any tips?
