2001 Jeep Wrangler Sport review from North America
"The best piece of crap that I have ever owned"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
30,000 miles replaced gas tank-manufacturing error.
35,000 miles rebuilt throttle body-unknown cause.
40,000 miles replaced gas tank seals and gas lines-manufacturing error.
60,000 miles replaced fuel pump-manufacturing error.
75,000 miles replaced transmission-manufacturing error.
Among other things, the inner door panels started cracking at 40,000 miles and the radio stopped working at 10,000 miles.
General comments?
All things considered, I love my Chrysler piece of crap. I will never get rid of it. My Jeep will always be the albatross that hangs around my neck. I will never purchase another one and since my warranty is about up, I plan on replacing all faulty mechanical components with Toyota parts. It may not sound like a jeep, but at least it will run. By the way, if anyone should chance to run into Lee Iococa in the street will you do me a huge favor and kick him in the ass for me? Thanks.
