1994 Kia Avella review from Central African Republic
"Very good - strong for a small car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
This car was imported and sold as a used vehicle from Korea.
Has been a reliable car, but sometimes there is no ignition until the third attempt, maybe because of the dust and heat?
The car is not able to be serviced at a dealer, so a friend of mine sometimes helps if there are problems. The only major problem was the head gasket replacement, which took a very long time to arrive - nearly 1 month.
The radio does not work.
The lights often do not work.
Wipers do not work sometimes.
General comments?
This is the first car of my family.
I like it very much. Fuel is very expensive and hard to get. This car is good at using little fuel.
Very bumpy over the rough roads, but that's OK as it feels solid.
It is the only Kia I have seen in Bangui.
The paint is fading.
It is comfortable to ride in and the inside is big.
I hope that it keeps going for years and years.
Thank you Kia.
