2001 Lancia Lybra LX 1.8 16v from Netherlands
Summary:
Nice family car with good appearance and Italian taste
Faults:
Nothing, after 100000 k.m. no problems appear except for the normal maintenance. Because I'm dutch and in the Netherlands it is economical to drive on LPG (liquid Petrol Gas) by a travel distance of 40.000 km or more a year. So there is a LPG installation installed when I get the car new. This LPG installation is original from Fiat/Lancia.
General Comments:
A great looking and driving car with nice options.
I can't wait on my newly ordered Lancia Lybra Intensa wich wil be delivered the first week of may.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

To be honest, for me the Lybra is a better car than the 156.
Both were designed with different purposes. The Lybra was more of a luxury and comfort car, while the 156 was intended as a sports car.
The two vehicles served their purpose well, but the Alfa sold much more because it was somewhat cheaper at the time of its launch.
Still, the Lybra seems much more robust to me and has proven to be more reliable and cause far fewer problems.

This car was highly underrated, perhaps because it was contemporary with the very successful Alfa 156, yet it was one of the best cars of the late 20th and early 21th century.
It has all the qualities of an Italian car (design, style, comfort, elegance) and is also reliable and mechanically sound.
In my opinion, it was the last and best Lancia.
